Ordering Teak Decking

True North Furniture use only solid sections of teak 12mm thick.  There are no veneers involved in the production of our decking.

We can supply unprocessed slats 50x12x2000mm (prices from $275 m/2) and 150x12x2000mm (prices from $88 linear metre).  Longer sections in both widths can be produced by finger jointing if required.

Deck Production Process

True North Furniture can custom produce your deck off-site thus speeding up the fitting process.  Using a combination of laser measuring and traditional template cutting provides us with an accurate layout of your deck or interior from which we provide you with a quotation and timescale.

The template is used to create your teak deck by using jigs and CNC routing if necessary.  The teak deck is then laid out in our workshop for your inspection.

Installation

Once you have signed off on the deck we can then proceed with installation or provide you with the materials to do it yourself.  True North Furniture only uses adhesives and caulking developed by TEAK DECKING SYSTEMS USA.  They have over 25 years in the production and installation of teak decks in the USA and around the world.  This has led them to develop their own range of epoxies, caulking and deck cleaners which True North Furniture believe to be unrivalled for the use on teak decks.

If you choose to install your deck yourself we will also provide you with custom made tools used by our installers to ensure that the planks are laid correctly.  We will also provide you with a free training session on installation of the teak deck and use of the TEAK DECKING SYSTEMS products.
