ALL ABOUT OUR TEAK BATHS
Timber is associated with beauty, strength, warmth and longevity. For centuries, many northern European and Asian cultures recognised the benefits of using timber to enhance the pleasure of bathing.
Teak has long been renowned for its unsurpassed durability and beauty in marine applications. This makes it the best timber in the world for baths.
Our teak baths have been constructed using solid, kiln-dried, plantation teak. Each section of timber is cut by hand, screwed together using stainless steel screws and each layer is sealed with a neoprene O ring. Once the sanding process is completed, the baths are then coated 3 times with a marine varnish.
The manufacturing process is lengthy but creates a beautiful product which will last more than a lifetime.

Jarrah is a eucalypt found in south western Australia. It is a very strong durable timber resistant to rot making it a very popular structural material. It has a beautifully rich, warm colour making it ideal for our luxurious timber baths. The construction of the baths is the same as our teak baths. The solid blocks are built up layer by layer, hand-sanded and sealed with a two component acrylic. We can customise our designs to fit most spaces.
